The story of This Old Brush begins with Allen, our founder, who started his career in disaster restoration. Supporting clients through difficult situations involving damage from wind, water, fire, or mold taught Allen the importance of empathy, communication, and care—qualities that now define his approach to every painting project.
During his time restoring homes and businesses, Allen discovered a passion for painting. This passion led him to partner with his brother to start a successful painting company in the Owen Sound area, where he honed his craft. After the passing of his father, Allen chose to relocate to London, Ontario, and establish This Old Brush Painting Company.
